Cardano Founder Floats XRP Collaboration After Midnight Airdrop

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has opened the door to a potential collaboration with the XRP community. This follows the successful Midnight airdrop, which also benefited XRP holders.

Discussions and Future Plans

During a recent AMA session, Hoskinson expressed enthusiasm about working with the XRP community, mentioning a recent conversation with Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. He also revealed that the Lace Wallet will support XRP before the end of the year.

Joint Events and Airdrop Success

Hoskinson mentioned his interest in organizing a joint event with XRP community stakeholders, including lawyer John Deaton. He also highlighted the success of the Midnight airdrop, noting that over 1.6 billion tokens have been redeemed. The airdrop, aimed at involving other ecosystems, included ADA, BTC, ETH, XRP, SOL, BNB, AVAX, and BAT holders.

Hoskinson reiterated the Midnight airdrop's potential to be one of the largest ever and suggested collaboration with leaders from other ecosystems to promote the Midnight project.

Addressing Airdrop Concerns

Hoskinson previously addressed concerns about potential manipulation of the Midnight airdrop, dismissing misinformation and affirming the airdrop's strong performance.

Community Response

John Deaton responded positively to the invitation, expressing his honor and pleasure at the prospect of working with Hoskinson and other crypto leaders.

XRP community member BankXRP praised Hoskinson's move, emphasizing that crypto collaboration drives innovation, security, adoption, and trust. The community member hopes to see ADA supported on more wallets.
